CONSIDER THE POLLEN
by Julie Lavender

Some of my friends up north are walking in the snow, but down here in the deep south, I’m crunching through the pollen on my walk with God.

GUEST BLOGGER

Today, my online writing friend, Joanna Eccles, joins my website, and I know you'll enjoy her words as much as I do. I've enjoyed the posts on her website, Words from the Honeycomb
for quite some time now, and I'm glad she's allowed me to share some of her work here. Please enjoy the writing below, and make sure to visit her website for more inspirational and thought-provoking work from her. You'll be so glad you did!

Glory Beyond the Ashes

To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes … that He may be glorified.  Isaiah 61:3 NKJV

God can change even the worst things into beauty.

CONSIDER THE LICHEN
by Julie Lavender

I’m likin’ my walk with God today because I came across some lichen.

Yeah, I know – corny, huh?

GUEST BLOGGER:

My guest today is my friend, Jeannie Waters. Jeannie and I met at a writers conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, only to find out that we live just a couple of hours apart!

We keep saying we're going to meet in the middle and visit....but that hasn't happened yet! But - I do get to see her very soon, in another state, at another writer's conference!

I'm thankful for our friendship. Jeannie is one of the most encouraging cheerleaders for fellow writers that I know! And we love to support one another, online mostly, with our writing adventures.

Jeannie and her husband are the parents of two and grandparents of four. She is published in four compilations and writes regularly for Refresh Magazine. Please visit her blog - she writes beautifully - and enjoy more of her words at www.jeanniewaters.com
